At the outset of this initiative we dreamed big.
In terms of devoutly updating the blog while traveling, perhaps our dreams were too big - but that only provides evidence of our busy days and fun nights.
The bar was set high from day one.
The day started with a unique multi-media presentation from Better Place, Israel's answer to the global oil dilemma. After the presentation, we were able to test drive new prototype vehicles that were powered by Better Place's batteries - a true zero emissions vehicle. Finally, we were able to engage in an interesting question and answer session with Better Place's founder/CEO Shai Agassi and present him with a plaque of our appreciation of our learning experiences with his firm.
The day continued to Teva, which was also fulfilling (both intellectually as well as food-wise!) and offered students a view into the world's largest generic pharma company and how it operates so successfully.
The day ended with an opportunity for mingling and networking with Tel Aviv University's Recanati and Sofaer MBA students, lead by Professor Simon Benninga and on to the Tel Aviv nightlife..
Though this is just a snapshot of one day of our experience, it is a great example of the excitement, intrigue and opportunities with which we were presented throughout the duration of our trip.
